How long does it take for a membership to become active?

Online/Phone: Members who join online or renew by phone are automatically activated.

Mail: Members who join by mail, your membership will be automatically activated (upon notifying the help desk at Contact) or your membership will become activated upon the date of receipt of payment.

How long is my membership good for?

Annual Subscription: All Memberships are valid for for one year from the date of purchase.

Monthly Subscription: All Memberships are valid for one month from the date of purchase.

How do I access my membership account?

You may access your account information by visiting Omnikal and entering your login/password. Upon logging in, you will be instantly directed to your membership page.

If you need further assistance in retrieving your login information, please visit Omnikal or call help desk at Contact.

How do I change or update information on my business profile?

You may change your information by visiting Omnikal and entering your login id/password. Upon logging in, you will be instantly directed to your membership page. From there, click on Update Profile.

How Do I change My Username or Password?

You may change your information by visiting Omnikal and entering your login id/password. Upon logging in, you will be instantly directed to your membership page. From there, click on Change Password.

Does my membership include receiving a membership certificate?

Yes. Membership certificate will be distributed electronically via email.

MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT

I think I made a duplicate membership payment. Will you refund my credit card?

Yes. Upon proof of receipt, a refund will be issued. To request a refund please visit Contact. Alternatively, you may also have an option of rolling over your membership to extend for another year.

How can I obtain a copy of my Membership Receipt?

Upon signing up or renewing, a copy of your receipt will automatically be emailed to you. If you don’t receive a copy, please send in request to (insert link or email address) or call help desk at  Contact.

Companies who make the list receive significant media exposure on a local and national basis, and get their company name in front of Fortune 500 organizations looking to do business with these privately held companies. For further benefits, visit Top Business Awards

How long does it take to enter & what information will I need to have prior to entry?

Previous Recipients
It shouldn’t take no longer than 1 minute.  What you would need to know is your prior annual sales or sales range from 2 years ago (ex. If you’re entering into the 2017 business awards, you would need your 2015 annual sales). Also, to review and update your profile to ensure that the proper contacts are notified and that you’re placed in the proper categories for eligibility.

New Entrants
It shouldn’t take no longer than 5 minutes. What you would need to know is your prior annual sales or sales range from 2 years ago (ex. If you’re entering into the 2017 business awards, you would need to know your 2015 annual sales or sales range). In addition, to ensure that you’re properly notified and placed in the proper categories; please make sure you have full contact, address, ownership (ex. classify as women-owned, disabled owned, etc.) and other information on your business profile.

How Do I Enter?

Existing Members
You may re-submit by visiting Omnikal and entering your login id/password. From there, click on Enter Business Awards. 

How are the “Top Businesses in America” determined?

The “Top Businesses in America” are determined by Omnikal’s selection committee. The committee carefully evaluates the eligibility for all submissions in each award category. The selection committee base their decision on an extensive set of criteria which includes: reviewing each entrant’s business profile, gross annual sales (or sales range) submitted, website, and external news sources.

Will entry forms remain confidential?

Yes. The information submitted will only be disclosed to the Omnikal selection committee. All confidential information (ex. sales figures) will not be released to the public.

What is the deadline to enter?

The deadline to enter is December 31st. For late entries, January 15th.

When are the “Top Businesses in America” announced?

The announcement of the honorees will be announced around January/February.

How are the awardees notified?

All recipients will be notified several times either via phone, fax and primarily by the email(s) provided on their membership profiles.

How do I access my rankings and category(s)?

You may access your rankings by visiting Omnikal and entering your login id/password. Upon logging in, you will be instantly directed to your membership page. From there, click on View My Awards.

How can I access my rankings/category(s) from previous year(s)?

Please call the help desk or send an email request by visiting Contact.

When will the awards ceremony take place?

The ceremony will take place at OMNIKAL’s “17th Annual National Business Summit.” It will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Harvard Club in New York, New York. To register, visit Summit Registration.

As an awardee, is there a cost to register for the awards ceremony?

Yes. If you’re an entrepreneur/ business award recipient, the price would be $695 per person.

If you’re a corporate/government award recipient, the price would be $995 per person.

Will recipients receive an award?

If you are registered to attend the awards ceremony, an award will be provided. For honorees not attending, there is an option to purchase their award and/or additional materials on their awardees page. They may purchase by visiting Omnikal and entering in login id/password.

What is the best way to further promote my “Top Business in America” award?

You may access tips on further promoting your award by visiting Omnikal and entering your login id /password at Member Login. Upon logging in, click on Promote  My Award.
